SLAM Master

This translation is provided for convenience only; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails: Português.

Preliminary version, under legal review. The game is in beta. These terms already apply, but they may change before the official launch; significant changes will be announced in the game's News tab.

Updated on October 5, 2026. These terms supplement the general Measuring Masters Terms of use and Privacy policy.

1. The game

SLAM Master is a free game by Measuring Masters (Top Terra & MM LTDA, CNPJ 19.295.669/0001-86) in which you carry out surveys with a SLAM laser scanner in 3D scenes. Its age rating is suitable for all ages (self-rated).

You can play without an account. A Measuring Masters account (the same one used in the store) is only required to appear on the leaderboard, save your progress on the server, earn and spend MM Coins and invite friends. You sign in with the account email address, using a 6-digit code sent to that email address or, if you have created one, a password (we store only an encrypted version of the password, never the password itself).

2. Account and nickname

  • The leaderboard shows your nickname, your country's flag and, if you wish, your company. Your name and email address are never shown to other players.
  • Your nickname must not be offensive or discriminatory, impersonate another person or company, or advertise contact details or websites. We may change or remove nicknames that break these rules.
  • You can hide your nickname from the leaderboard at any time in your game profile.
  • You are responsible for access to your account. If you notice any misuse, please contact us.

3. Minors

  • In the profile we only ask for your age range, never your date of birth.
  • Children under 13 may only create a game profile with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. On the leaderboard they appear only with a nickname and flag; their company is never displayed.
  • The game shop only uses MM Coins, which are earned by playing: they cannot be bought with money, so exchanging coins for items is open to all ages. If real-money payments are ever added (for example, the company logo on the vest), they will be available only to people aged 18 or over, or with a parent or guardian’s permission.
  • Parents and guardians may at any time ask to access, correct or delete a minor's data using the contact details at the end of this page.

4. Runs and leaderboard

  • Scores are calculated by our server from the run data. Runs that do not check out (impossible times, altered data, use of external tools) are rejected or removed.
  • The leaderboard is monthly and resets every month; we also keep an all-time leaderboard. Each piece of equipment (handheld SLAM, drone) has its own leaderboard.
  • We may adjust the scoring rules to fix errors or keep the competition fair. If this significantly changes the leaderboard, we will announce it.

Monthly leaderboard rules

  • Who takes part: accounts with a nickname that is visible on the leaderboard. Each player's best run of the month counts, for each mission and each piece of equipment (these are separate leaderboards). Test flights and demos do not count.
  • Tiebreaker: most points; with equal points, the shortest time; if still tied, whoever played the run first.
  • Closing: the month closes automatically the first time the game is accessed in the following month. From then on, the new month's leaderboard starts from zero.
  • Top 10 rewards on each leaderboard (mission and equipment): 1st place 2,000 MM Coins, 2nd 1,500, 3rd 1,000 and 4th to 10th 500 MM Coins. Everyone in the top 10 earns the "Top 10" achievement (which unlocks the Champion vest) and 1st place earns the "Champion" achievement. Rewards are credited to the account automatically and the winners are shown in the News tab.
  • There are no cash, product or service prizes. Rewards consist solely of MM Coins and in-game items, which have no monetary value (see section 5). There is no prize drawing and no fee to take part: the leaderboard is a free competition of skill.
  • Irregular runs (altered data, external tools, accounts used to game invites or the leaderboard) are removed, even after closing, and the corresponding rewards may be reversed.
  • If we change these rules, the change applies from the following month and will be announced in the News tab.

5. MM Coins and game shop

  • MM Coins are the game's virtual currency. They are earned by playing and through challenges, achievements, invites and shares. At present they are not sold for money.
  • MM Coins and in-game items have no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money, store products or other benefits outside the game, cannot be transferred to another account and are non-refundable.
  • When you buy an item (for example, the LiDAR drone), you receive the right to use it within the game for as long as your account and the game exist.
  • We may adjust prices, rewards and limits (such as the daily coin cap) to keep the game balanced. Coins or items obtained through a system error or fraud may be withdrawn.
  • Should real-money sales ever be offered (for example, a company logo on the vest), the terms of payment, invoicing, right of withdrawal and refunds will be stated before purchase, in accordance with Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (CDC).

6. Invites

  • Each account has an invite link. When someone creates a new account through it and finishes a run lasting at least 1 minute, both the inviter and the invitee receive MM Coins. There is a monthly limit on rewarded invites, stated in the game.
  • To prevent fraud, we compare a random device identifier and the IP address of the inviter and the invitee. Accounts created only to earn coins (the same person, the same device, fake accounts) do not count, and coins obtained in this way may be withdrawn.
  • Do not send invites to people who do not want to receive them (spam).
  • Only upload the logo of a company you represent or a logo you are authorized to use.
  • Every logo is reviewed before it is shown to other players. We reject third-party brands used without authorization, offensive content and illegible logos. Until it is approved, only you can see the logo.

8. Conduct

The following are not permitted: modifying the game or the data sent to the server, using programs that play for you, deliberately exploiting bugs to gain points or coins, creating multiple accounts to get around limits or invite rules, or attempting to access other people's accounts or data. If you find a bug, please tell us using the "Talk to the team" button in the game.

In the event of a violation, we may remove runs, reset coins and items, hide the nickname from the leaderboard or suspend access to the game, in proportion to the seriousness of the violation.

Content and intellectual property

The game, scenes, 3D models, text and the Measuring Masters brand belong to Measuring Masters or its licensors. You may share images and videos of your runs, including the result card generated by the game.

Availability and changes

The game is in beta: it may contain bugs, be offline for maintenance and change how it works. We may amend these terms; the date at the top indicates the version in force, and significant changes will be announced in the game.

  • Return statistics (optional): if you accept the notice “Can we count whether you come back to play?”, we keep an anonymous random code on this device (no name or email), sent along with the visit steps, only so we can count how many people come back to play. You can turn it off in Settings › General, and the code is deleted from the device. If you don’t accept, nothing is stored.
  • Stored in your browser (local storage, not sent to anyone except as stated above): language, settings, sound, character appearance, personal bests, XP for players without an account, tutorial progress, news already read, the invite code received and the random device identifier. You can delete all of this by clearing the site's data in your browser.
  • Third-party services loaded by the game: cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net (3D engine) and flagcdn.com (flags). When loading these files, your browser discloses your IP address to these services, as with any website. The share buttons open WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X or Facebook only when you click them.

Once the period has elapsed, this data is deleted automatically.
  • Your rights: you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your game data (which also removes your runs from the leaderboard and resets your coins and items) using the contact details below.

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the district of Ponta Grossa – PR are chosen as the venue (foro), without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own domicile.
